Republicrat Heckled

Republican Gresham Barrett booed off stage at rally.
He's luck it wasn't medieval times, or he'd be getting pelted with produce.
Gresham recently lost his seat with 571 votes, more than any other representative of the 111th.

During his time he proposed the STEP Act, which would not only ban individuals from countries listed by the Department of State as sponsors of terrorism from entering the United States,
but also deport legal visa holders already residing in the country.

He also sought to prohibit online gambling by sponsoring HR. 4411
& was one of 33 members of the house who voted against the renewal of the Voting Rights Act,
which protected voters from discrimination based on race, and color,
by banning the practice of states enforcing mandatory tests or prerequisites in order to vote.
This was commonly used in Southern States, where literacy tests were enacted
to prevent African-Americans from voting.
Ironically signed into law by president Lyndon B. Johnson
a year after he signed the Civil Rights Act of 1965.
