CNN's Rick Sanchez, who previously argued the Ugandan soccer bombing,
which left 74 people dead, was helpful,
now declares the 10th amendment of the Constitution to be racist.
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states,
are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people"
-10th amendment
This aspect of the Bill of Rights is a powerful tool for individual states and residents
who seek to oppose those federal abuses of power which are not defined in the Constitution.
You may have heard the word Nullification being kicked around lately.
Basically a term used when a State determines a specific Federal law or mandate to be unjust.
Several Nullification efforts have taken place:

-Health Care Freedom act
-Bring the Guard Home
-Constitutional Tender
-Cap & Trade
-State Sovereignty & Federal Tax Funds act

-Federal Gun Laws Nullification
-Nullification of Federal Intrastate Commerce Regulation
In essence, many states are fighting the good fight in hopes of restoring certain civil freedoms back to the hands of the people.
Unfortunately with history in mind, the courts haven't been so kind when it comes to these proposed reversals of bias legislation.
Such is the case with the Nullification Crisis of 1832,
when Andrew Jackson denied South Carolina's Ordinance of Nullification which requested the overturn of the Tariffs of 1828 & 1832, which protected industry in the midst of an economic downturn.
