New World dis-Order

Those who oppose the tyranny which besieges our nation may soon be dubbed mentally-ill.
The 4th revision of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)
the American Psychiatric Association's "bible for modern psychiatry" for over 50 years now,
hopes to add an array of new disorders to the mix.

Including:
-"Oppositional defiant disorder"
(be wary Patriots)
which is defined as:
"negativistic, defiant, disobedient & hostile behavior toward authority figures"

-"Temper dysregulation with dysphoria"
(for the child who throws one too many temper tantrums)
one article sites:
"If 7-year old Mozart tried composing his concertos today, he might be diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder & medicated into barren normality."

-"Psychosis risk syndrome"
(for the eccentric teenager)

-"Hypersexual disorder"
(those of you that look at far too much internet porn)

-"Antisocial personality disorder"
(homebodies beware)
defined as:
"a pervasive pattern of disregard for the rights of others... callous, cynical.... an inflated & arrogant self-appraisal"

-"Histrionic personality disorder"
"excessive emotionality & attention-seeking"
(aka: every girl I ever met)

-"Narcissistic personality disorder"
"grandiosity, need for admiration... boastful & pretentious"
(most men these days, especially those who indulge in sports & bar-hopping, or sports bar-hopping)

-"Binge eating disorder"
(no more midnight snacks for you fair Gremlin)

-"Gambling addiction"
(leave your hopes and dreams in your wallet, or better yet the bank)

The outcome of approving these new disorders will hold far more consequences than simply clinically labeling someone a pervert or anarchist.
It will open the potential for future pharmaceuticals to be developed to curb such desires,
which in turn will produce further side effects which require other medication.
"Personality disorders" will become character flaws.
The door will be open for actions which could be detrimental to the "impaired" such as legal issues,
and actions which they could benefit from such as benefits for their "disability",
which of course taxpayers will end up footing the bill for.
As under federal law:
any "mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities"
may deserve legal entitlement.
With the many existing disorders and the inevitability of many more to come,
it's quite possible to label every living person with some shade of mental illness.
Self-Control has become archaic.

Between 1996 & 2006:
-73% more American Adults
&
-50% more kids
were both prescribed drugs for mental illness.
The number of kids diagnosed with mental illness has doubled in that time frame.
