Bush Tax Cuts expire

The Bush tax cuts set to expire by the end of 2010
are alleged to hit the poor 10 times worse than the rich.
Education, health, and other social services will indeed be slashed as tighter restrictions are imposed on who qualifies for benefits.
The cuts were good for citizens short term, but further hurt the economy in the long run.
Price will surely go up once they expire, but it may be too small to notice.
Our national debt will continue to skyrocket regardless of the cuts,
so I'd rather they extend em' to save us money for now.
