Alien Baptism

Pope's astronomer Guy Consolmagno says he would baptize an alien if it "asked".
Stating, "any entity, no matter how many tentacles it has... has a soul".

The Vatican will not take up an official position on the existence of extra-terrestrial lifeforms,
but that has not stopped many of its scientists from speaking out on the subject.
Such as Father Jose Funes, director of the Vatican Observatory, who said:
the possibility of "brother extraterrestrials" wasn't incompatible with Catholic theology.
