100 Wasteful Stimulus Projects

Senator McCain & Coburn released a report titled:
"Summertime Blues: 100 stimulus projects that give taxpayers the blues"
spotlighting failed projects which soaked up taxpayer stimulus dough.
Includes:

despite schooling crisis and first responder layoffs
-Mohegan Sun gets $54 million for WNBA practice facility
-Georgia Tech professor get nearly $800k to jam with "world renowned musicians"
-nearly $500k for smokers who quit to get a free smartphone from American Legacy Foundation
-$144k for monkeys to get high for science
-over $3 million for field trips for Oakland, Ca workers
-PR firm previously caught making fake TV news gets $25.8 million
-nearly 3/4 of a a million spent on a joke generating machine
-$1.2 million spent to market video games to the elderly
-half a million on tracking microchips for recycling bins
-$25 million on snow making and chair lifts at Mt. Snow
-$5 million to Colorado liquor distilleries

-$1 million to give Utah high school students Iphones
-$600,000 to hunt meteorites in Antartica
-Cornell University receives nearly $300k to study dog domestication
-$4.6 million to restore Franklin D. Roosevelt's home
(a proven eugenicist and racist)

there's tons more,
mostly shady contractors, misplaced funds, and neglectful spending of course.
Hilarious, yet sad....
Our children will bare the brunt of this wasting in the form of future debt!
