Economic Meltdown

Schwarzenegger orders minimum wage for state workers...
Gov. Paterson of NY cuts deal at the buzzer slashing funds to mental health & social services threatening a goverment shutdown "would create unimaginable chaos around the state"
Schwarzenegger's orders

Patersons warning

NY's deal to avoid avalanche
Patersons deal keeps NYs neck off the guillotine this time, but the deal isn't permanent and consists of weekly extenders.
It also cuts funds to mental health and social services which will assure that many doctors and lawyers either work pro bono or hit the road,
many welfare crackdowns in the works as well as they ween thru societys needy families.
None of this talk is good as eventual goverment shutdowns include: state parks (which includes beaches), dmv, courts, even the lottery.
"Public assistance payments would not be made and unemployment payments might also be held up."
Assuring the desperate would hit the streets to the tune of Greece

as government strips us of our national treasures.
